Terms and Conditions

Please take a moment to read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They work alongside the information in the FAQ section of my page. By placing an order with Remember Me in Jewellery, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agreed to these terms. If there’s anything you’re unsure about, feel free to get in touch before placing your order — I’m always happy to help.

Remember Me in Jewellery may refer customers back to this page if any questions or issues come up that are covered here.

Orders

I may occasionally use photos of completed pieces for my website or social media. If you’d prefer your item not to be shared, just let me know as soon as possible after ordering.

Availability

Most items are kept in stock; however some pieces (such as rings and certain settings) may need to be ordered from my suppliers. If something is unavailable, I’ll contact you so you can choose whether to wait or cancel your order.

I only order settings once your inclusion has arrived with me. If there’s a delay in sending your inclusion, your chosen setting may no longer be available when it arrives. To avoid disappointment, please send your inclusion as soon as you can.

Changes and Cancellations

You’re welcome to cancel or make changes to your order up until your inclusion arrives with me. If you do cancel, the cost of returning your inclusion will be deducted from your refund.

Once a setting or memorial gift has been ordered from a supplier, I may not be able to offer a full refund if you decide to cancel or change your order.

Once work has begun, colours, designs, or settings can’t be changed, as inclusions can’t be removed from the resin. At this stage, refunds can’t be offered.

If I haven’t received your inclusion within four weeks of ordering, I reserve the right to decline a refund.

Timescales

Current estimated timescales can be found in the FAQ section. These are estimates and delays can sometimes happen. By ordering, you acknowledge that timescales may change.

Timescales start from the date your inclusion arrives with me. If your inclusion is sent later, you’ll join the waiting list at that time. If there are any delays, I’ll always get in touch by email to keep you informed.

Delivery

You’re responsible for sending your inclusion to me, and while I’ll take great care once it arrives, I can’t be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Please make sure inclusions are securely packaged and the correct postage option is selected — guidance can be found in the FAQ section.

Postage costs for sending inclusions to me are the customer’s responsibility. Any extra charges due to incorrect postage will need to be paid before your order is sent out.

Finished orders are sent via Royal Mail 24-hour Tracked or Special Delivery to the address provided at checkout. Please double-check that your address is correct, as I can’t be responsible for items sent to the wrong address.

If your parcel doesn’t arrive when expected, please check the tracking details first. If you’re still having trouble, get in touch and I’ll do my best to help. Please allow up to 14 days from dispatch for delivery. I can’t accept responsibility for items lost during return transit.

Quality, Returns, and Refunds

Every piece is handmade by me with great care and attention, and your happiness means a lot to me. If something isn’t right, please read the information below carefully.

Care instructions are included with your order and available on my page — following these helps keep your jewellery looking its best.

As each piece is custom-made using your personal inclusions, refunds can’t be offered on completed orders except in certain situations.

If your item develops a fault within six months of receiving it, and this isn’t due to accidental damage or misuse, I’ll first try to repair it. If repair isn’t possible, I’ll replace it with the same item. If that item is no longer available, you can choose an alternative of the same value or receive a refund.

Chains that break due to normal wear aren’t covered unless faulty, but I’m happy to help with replacements at a small cost.

Accidental damage isn’t covered, but please contact me and I’ll do what I can to help — any repairs or replacements would be chargeable.

I may ask for damaged items to be returned for inspection. If the issue isn’t caused by you, postage costs will be refunded. If damage is accidental, return postage costs will apply.

As each item is handmade, tiny surface bubbles may occasionally be visible. These don’t affect the strength or quality of the piece and aren’t considered faults.

When ordering rings, please make sure you select the correct size, as refunds or exchanges can’t be offered for incorrect sizing. Ring sizing guidance is available in the FAQ section.

If a refund is agreed, postage costs already paid for sending inclusions to me can’t be refunded.

Please don’t return items unless we’ve agreed to it first. Unauthorised returns may be held until any additional costs are covered.

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact me within three working days so we can sort it out quickly.

Payment

Full payment must be made before completed orders are returned to you. Any outstanding payments must be settled within two weeks of request. If payment isn’t received, the contract may be cancelled and the jewellery retained. Your inclusions will be returned to you at your own cost.
